I decided to start this group for people in-between San Francisco and San Jose. I also have found it difficult to find groups that meet later in the day on the weekends. I'm not a morning person so I like to hike but prefer to go later in the day. This Meetup group is for those of us who love to hike with our dogs. We seek out the best dog-friendly trails in Oakland and nearby cities. We meet in small groups and our goal is fun for our dogs in a safe and friendly group. Our canine membership is very diverse ranging from a 6 pound Mini to a 180 pound Great Dane.
